The "TORCH" has been passed

Tom Kearney, class of '58 reunion committee chair, passes the baton to our own Joe Weber at the annual communion breakfast. Simply put, it is now up to the Class of '59 to uphold the tradition. For those who might not know, it is tradition for the 50th reunion class to take responsibility for the annual communion breakfast. Of course, our committee is also busy preparing for the reunion weekend. Please continue to send in those checks for the class purse. Weekend dates: 9/25/09 to 9/27/09. Golf Friday afternoon; Steaks and Suds Friday evening - or pizza and beer; Reunion dinner Saturday evening at Meadowlands Country Club, the site of our Senior prom; Sunday morning memorial mass followed by brunch and a tour of the school.
Our headquarters for the weekend will be the Double Tree Suites in Plymouth Meeting, Pa. (Across from the Plymouth Meeting Mall) Great Rate of $104.00 nightly, 610-834-8300.
The committee is planning several events that promise to be a lot of fun. Hope to see you there!

I called the hotel and it was great. $104.00 per night for a suite. Whoever took care of getting the hotel deserves a round of applause. Hey... We have 7 1/2 months to complete everything for the weekend. Seems to me we have a few loose ends. I know Paul Roman is working on the program and Joe Bisch is wrestling with the golf. How are we on other items?? Maybe JWEB will get everyone to respond.
