Attached is the RCHS diploma I spoke about. It is my wife's grandfather - WILLIAM JOSEPH MEEHAN - who graduated in the 4th graduating class of 1897. The original school seal , and inked date and ink signatures are still clearly visible - June 16, 1897; Archbishop Ryan and the First Rector, Nevin Francis Fisher.
It was found in Alice's maiden aunt's attic after her death in 1989 - had probably been there 50 years. We had it professionally mounted and sealed for preservation purposes.

Thanks for this Joe and Alice. I don't have any idea where my diploma would be. It might have gotten lost in the Flood of '72. The "Fides et Scientia" looks great and brings back good memories.
Thanks to Joe and Alice. It was great to see such a piece of history like this. Having it come from Roman, even makes it much better. You did a great job in preserving it. GO CAHILLITES !!
